Why is it so tough to plan an India trip?

Planning for an India trip this month. Why am I obssessed about getting presents for people especially kids? Why do kids have varied interests and when did they all grow up to have their own likes and dislikes? Why should my dad and mil have 9-10 siblings each? Believe me it is tough shopping with a recovering ankle and why am I obsessed about shopping in person? Why do I have to go to Bangalore and work for 2 weeks? And why did the stupid me suggest that in the first place (knowing fully well that I can’t expense anything including my flight tickets and stay in Bangalore)? Why do I have so many things to do and so little time or why am I not utilizing my time well?  Why? Why? Why?

Cool man!! Welcome to B’lore. Don’t even think about staying anywhere else! Make sure you don’t have to work in Whitefield…a bit far from here…anyways, keep me posted about your plans.

    Don’t worry அங்கே தான் டேரா!

Oh it is so much fun to open up the suitcase and spread out all the stuff when u get there (I call it kadai virichufying). And also because u have done it for all the previous trips! ;)
I find it getting tougher to shop for stuff coz almost everything we get here is available there too. And when I buy clothes I make sure I read the label to see that it is not ‘made in India’. People made fun of me when I brought those once (“ne avolo thooram USA poi India la pannina dress’a vangindu vanthiya?!” )
Have a great trip n hope the ankle is better!

Yes it is fun! But no fun shopping with bad ankle! Thanks!

I decided not to buy anything. IPod, IPhone, latest Digital Camera, Laptop ippadi dhan kekaraanga.

My friend got an IPod nano for his cousin and just before he was about to give that …he saw his cousin having the 30 GB IPod…Nanova kudukaama he escaped from his cousins home…idhu kuduthuirundha en maanamey poyirukum nu he was telling us….

I don’t buy anything in the price range that you mentioned. நீங்க தெய்வம்! I buy books, toys, dress, cosmetics, etc. This time refusing to buy chocolates since it is summer and it will all melt away.
